Unveiling the Unmatched Benefits of Our Product.

It helps people and animals to prepare, perform, and recover in an innovative and successful way.

At Back on Track®, we create innovative products using infrared reflection technology. Our fabrics are developed through scientific medical knowledge using advanced textile production methods. Dr Erland Beselin (Ph.D in transplantation immunology) developed Welltex® and Iontex® to help people and animals prepare, perform and recover in an innovative and successful way.

Welltex® and Iontex® combine minerals with selected materials to create fibres and fabrics that improve well-being. At Back on Track®, we develop products with well-being in mind, and all our products are properly tested. They are tested according to scientific methods and also through long-term user experience.

For almost twenty years, customers have sent us feedback and reviews. By listening, being inquisitive, and being inventive, we will do everything we can to help you get closer to your goals. Thanks to all of you, we have been inspired to embark on our mission. Now, we can provide you with tools to increase your performance, enhance your recovery, and prepare you for new challenges.

The Welltex® and Iontex® fabrics are infused with minerals that reflect infrared energy, which releases nitric oxide. Infrared energy is known to increase well-being and generate a favourable effect on muscles and joints. It can help reduce muscle tensions and support blood circulation, which can help you prepare, perform, and recover in your everyday life.

Join us and try our first garments produced in Iontex®, feel the sensation and pleasure of having Iontex® next to your skin.“ – Dr E Beselin

This year, we launched Iontex®, a technology similar to Welltex®. It meets the new trends in sports garments with high elastic properties to give you freedom in movement. Iontex® absorbs sweat and moisture from your body to ensure you always have a comfortable body temperature and provide you with infrared therapy.

How Welltex® works

The Welltex® fabric catches the warmth your body naturally emits, changes it into infrared heat radiation, and then reflects it back into your skin, bones, muscles and joints. Infrared radiation is a known energy form used to increase well-being and generates a favourable effect, especially for muscles and joints. The reflected heat helps to reduce muscle tension, supporting blood circulation, which can aid the recovery process from injury and strain.

Welltex® fabric is able to do this, thanks to the mineral particles that are infused into the treads of the fabric.

Back on Track® products work naturally in generating their own heat, therefore the products are at no risk of being identified as doping. No external heat has been added. The result is consistent, soothing warmth exclusively created by reflecting heat from the body.

How to use Welltex®

The use of Welltex® products should be built up gradually. For the first two or three days the product may be used up to four hours (preliminary phase). After this, the usage time should be increased to at least eight hours or longer.

MIPS stands for Multi-directional Impact Protection System

The system is built into the helmet, designed to protect the brain by reducing the damaging forces in the event of a fall from a horse.

How does MIPS work?

MIPS acts as an extra shell inside the helmet and allows the helmet to rotate in all directions without affecting the head. In other words, the helmet takes care of the rotational forces in the event of a fall from your horse, not your head

Therefore, it is a matter of course that our riding helmets must be equipped with the MIPS ® safety system.

Why do I need MIPS?

If you fall from a height or fall, you are more likely to hit your head sideways than to land squarely on your head. Oblique impacts create a rotational movement that the brain is very sensitive to. At best, in the case of hard blows, you will manage with a minor concussion. If you are really unlucky the brain tissue can be damaged.

How are our riding helmets tested?

Our riding helmets are tested in two versions: one with and one without MIPS. To be approved, the helmets need to reduce rotational forces by at least 10%. In most cases the helmets significantly exceed this limit.
The helmets are stressed in the forehead, from the side, from above, and the side from the front. The tests take place on all models and sizes, and are documented both via sensors and high speed cameras.

Measuring for the Perfect Fit!

Choosing an equestrian riding helmet that fits properly is more than just a matter of comfort. It's a matter of safety. A well-fitting helmet is your best defense during rides, ensuring complete protection. To find the right size, measure your head's circumference just above the eyebrows, corresponding to your helmet size.

Helmet Options:

  • Fixed Sizes: Lynx Eventing, EQ3 Smooth Top

  • Adjustable Sizes: Lynx Smooth Top & Pardus Smooth Top

A well-fitting helmet should not only provide safety but also comfort. It should sit comfortably without pressure points, staying secure as you move. Conduct a stay-tight test: place hands on the helmet and gently rock it; if the skin moves with the helmet, it fits properly. Alternatively, try the shake test: with the chinstrap unbuttoned, shake your head; if the helmet stays in place, it fits well.

Adjusting Fit: Inner linings in various thicknesses allow for personalized adjustments, catering to different head shapes. Ensure the chin strap is snug, fitting one to two fingers between the chin and strap.

For Growing Children: Opt for adjustable helmets to accommodate growth while prioritizing a secure fit for safety.

Finding a fitting equestrian riding helmet ensures comfort and safety, providing peace of mind during rides.
